All four members of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK have renewed their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment for “group activities.”
“After careful discussions with BLACKPINK, we have signed an exclusive contract for the group activities based on deep trust,” announced YG Entertainment on Dec. 6.

However, the contracts of BLACKPINK members’ individual activities are still under discussion.
"Contracts for individual activities are being negotiated," YG Entertainment told Korean media outlet Hankook Ilbo.
With the group contract, YG Entertainment said BLACKPINK will repay the love of fans around the world with activities such as releasing a new album and holding a large-scale world tour.
Yang Hyun-suk, general producer of YG Entertainment, said, “We are happy to continue our relationship with BLACKPINK.”
“BLACKPINK will continue to do its best to shine even brighter in the global music market as an artist representing not only our company but also K-pop,” he said.
BLACKPINK debuted in 2016.
