The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, Dec. 6 said the northeast monsoon or "amihan" and the easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean may still bring rains in parts of the country.

The Eastern and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Region, South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and General Santos will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
PAGASA advised the public to be vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
In Batanes and Babuyan Islands, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be felt due to amihan.
Meanwhile, in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, humid weather condition with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced due to the easterlies.
PAGASA also said flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Moreover, weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said there is no Low Pressure Area (LPA) that may affect the country up until the following days.
