In Caloocan City, around 5,000 teachers who attended Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan's "Ulat sa Guro 2023" at the Caloocan Sports Complex were evacuated after the quake was felt in the area.
Malapitan joined the City Engineering Department and the Office of the City Building Officials in conducting inspection to check if there are damages in the building after the earthquake.

City employees working at the Caloocan City Hall-South also evacuated to Caloocan People’s Park after the shake. Members of Caloocan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office also implemented safety protocols in the area.
Navotas City Mayor John Reynald "John Rey" Tiangco also declared suspension of classes in all levels (public and private) as well as local government office immediately after the Intensity V quake was experienced in the city.
Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval also cancelled public and private school classes (all levels) for the safety of the students.
Meanwhile, the Quezon and Valenzuela City governments also posted emergency hotlines on their official Facebook pages for residents who need assistance.
The Valenzuela City government reminded residents to stay calm, follow the duck, cover and hold practice; stay away from windows, doors, and other house furnitures that may fall or get destroyed; and for motorists to stop driving during an earthquake.
