LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency has declared Camp Major Bado Dangwa, headquarters of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera here, as a drug-free workplace.

PDEA-Cordillera Director Julius Paderes and Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera chief, unveiled the drug-free workplace marker at Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa on Monday, December 4.
Peredo received a plaque of confirmation affirming that the PRO-Cordillera has met the criteria of Dangerous Drugs Board Regulation No. 13, Series of 2018, for a drug-free workplace.
This regulation establishes and institutionalizes drug-free workplace policies in all government offices, including authorized drug testing for elective local officials, appointive public officers, and other purposes as outlined by the PRO-Cordillera Drug-Free Workplace Committee.
The event was witnessed by the PRO-Cordillera Deputy Regional Director for Administration Police Brig. Gen. Patrick Joseph Allan, Police Col. Elmer Ragay, deputy regional director for operations, and Police Col. Julio Lizardo, chief, regional staff.
