Missing plane in Isabela found

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – A search and rescue team aboard an Air Force helicopter has found the aircraft reported missing after taking off from the Cauayan Airport here last week.

Joshua Hapinat, spokesperson of the Incident Management Team (IMT), said the debris of the Piper plane with tail number RP-C1234 was found in the mountains of Barangay Casala, San Mariano, Isabela.

Hapinat said they are trying to establish their next move to recover the plane which was on its way to Palanan, Isabela when it went missing.

Ground search teams exerting effort to reach the area to verify the condition of the pilot and a passenger on board.
