The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday, Dec. 5 said the easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean will prevail over the country, particularly in large parts of Luzon.

In its 4 a.m. live forecast, weather specialist Benison Estareja said the eastern portion of Luzon, particularly Batanes and Cagayan, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with less rains.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains will also be experienced in Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are possible in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
However, “slightly” humid weather condition at a temperature of 25°C to 33°C will be experienced in Metro Manila due to the easterlies.
Meanwhile, Estareja said the northeast monsoon, or "amihan," may return as it strengthens in Northern Luzon over the next three days, while the easterlies may continue to affect the rest of the country.
