Drowning victim found in Quezon island-town

PEREZ, Quezon – The body of a man believed to have drowned was found on the shoreline of Sitio Tiaga, Barangay Villa Manzano Norte, this island-town, on Monday afternoon, December 4.

The victim was wearing a blue-green long-sleeve and blue shorts, with a silver ring on his right ring finger, and was about 30- to 45-years-old.

Resident found the body in prone position and was reported to the police and Municipal Health Officer Dr. Kristine del Mora Oates.

Initial examination on the physical appearance of the victim showed no apparent sign of physical violence.

Police suspect he died due to drowning.
