CEB offers new flexible baggage options

Cebu Pacific (CEB) is rolling out an updated pre-paid baggage policy that allows travellers more flexible options suited for their baggage allowance needs.

In a statement, the airline said that passengers can buy up to three pieces of baggage, with weight options ranging from 20kg, 24kg, 28kg, and 32kg.

This is an improvement from only two pieces of baggage, either 20kg or 32kg, that were available for purchase by passengers in the previous policy.

“Cebu Pacific always strives to be customer centric. We updated our baggage policy so that passengers can have greater control over their baggage allowance at lower rates than current airport charges,” said Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer.

This could help our customers lessen their expenses and experience a faster bag drop at the airport,” she added.

Pre-paid bags can be purchased when travellers book their flights through the additional baggage option at the Manage Booking portal of their MyCebuPacific accounts.

The airline recommends passengers to create MyCebuPacific accounts for easier access to flight bookings, travel funds, and trip notifications.

Upgrade selections are featured for customers who bought “GO Easy” or “GO Flexi” bundles.

Those who chose the “GO Basic” options must select the baggage add-ons after selecting their flight dates.

To reduce long queues at airport counters, CEB also advises passengers to check-in online.
