Parañaque LGU donates speed boat, boat engines to CAFAS

The Parañaque City government donated a speed boat and boat engines to the City Agricultural, Fisheries and Aquatic Services (CAFAS) on Monday, Dec. 4.

 

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the turnover ceremony was held at the Parañaque City Hall quadrangle led by City Administrator Atty. Voltaire Dela Cruz.

 

He said the donation will be used by members of CAFAS in the conduct of “Bantay Dagat” program in protecting the marine environment.

 

He said the speed boat can also be used by the CAFAS team in conducting patrol along the city’s coastal area against those conducting illegal activities.

 

The mayor said CAFAS can also use the speed boat in serving the coastal barangays in the city.
