Vietnamese arrested for drug possession, unjust vexation in Pasay City

A Vietnamese man was arrested by members of the Pasay police Station Intelligence Section (SIS) for possession of drugs and unjust vexation on Sunday, Dec. 3.
According to the report submitted by city police chief Col. Mario Mayames to the Southern Police District (SPD), the arrested suspect was identified as Cu, 21, and a resident of Pasay City.
Mayames said Cu was arrested at around 12:15 a.m. in front of Antel Building, Service Road, Barangay 76, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
According to the report, members of the SIS conducted a surveillance on a person with a standing warrant of arrest when the suspect, who was on board an E-bike, accidentally bumped the motorcycle being used by one of the operatives.
The SIS members were reportedly on their way back to the police headquarters when the suspect’s E-bike collided with the motorcycle.
The police said the suspect reportedly shouted and threw a stone at the operatives. He was immediately arrested.
The police also said that during the body search on Cu, the SIS members found a plastic sachet containing around 2.51 grams of shabu worth P17,068.
Cu was charged with possession of illegal drugs and unjust vexation.
