Taguig police arrest 2 men in shabu bust

Two men were arrested by the Taguig police in a buy-bust operation on Sunday, Dec. 3.

Personnel from the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested the suspects, identified only as alias Roman, 35, and alias Mark, 42, on MLQ Street, Purok 4 in Barangay Lower Bicutan.

During the operation, the police seized six plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 27.5 grams with a total value of P187,000. They also confiscated P500 bill used as buy-bust money, two pieces of P1,000 boodle money, weighing scale, and one cellular phone.

The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of the Taguig police and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002).
