'Slightly humid' weather to prevail over parts of PH — PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Monday, Dec. 4 that “slightly humid” weather with a chance of rains may be expected in the eastern portion of the country in the next few days.

PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja said the humid weather is caused by the presence of easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
He added that the northeast monsoon, known locally as "amihan," has weakened slightly and may only affect Northern Luzon until the middle of the week.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the easterlies and the northeast monsoon may bring isolated rains across the country in the next 24 hours.
Cloudy skies with rains will be felt in Batanes and Cagayan, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
PAGASA issued a warning to residents of Batanes and Cagayan about the dangers of flash floods and landslides caused by moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms expected due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
The weather bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may also occur during severe thunderstorms.
