DOH welcomes new nurses

The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday, Dec. 4, congratulated the 25,761 successful candidates who passed the 2023 Nurse Licensure Examination.

DOH said this achievement resulted in an impressive 80.00 percent national passing rate.

The health department expressed its enthusiasm for the accomplishment. "May this incredible milestone inspire all young dreamers in pursuing the medical field, and together, let's work in making Universal Health Care kung saan Bawat Buhay ay Mahalaga (where every life is valuable)," DOH said.

The successful examinees joined the ranks of dedicated healthcare professionals, contributing to the nation's healthcare system.

The DOH emphasized the importance of this achievement in fostering a robust medical community and encouraged aspiring individuals to consider a career in the healthcare sector.

Moreover, it noted that this accomplishment serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the newly licensed nurses and sets a positive tone for the future of the healthcare industry.
