Sustainable Standards Inc. (SSI) hosted the event to acknowledge and celebrate leaders driving positive change in sustainability throughout the Philippines.

A Mosliv (Most Sustainable and Livable) is a roadmap for reaching the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for a worldwide climate-neutral society by 2050. The award-giving body looks for recipients who demonstrate love for the country and care for the environment.

Duterte, who thanked the award-giving body, received the recognition for crafting several legislative measures that contributed significantly to the country's sustainable development.

According to SSI, the lawmaker has consistently shown a strong commitment to improving the well-being of the people he serves that was evident in his attainments.

He vowed to continue working towards a sustainable future for the nation, implementing laws and his ongoing eco-friendly projects in Davao City.

“Our commitment to sustainable development does not end with filing bills in Congress but continues by implementing actionable programs that will help end poverty, spur economic growth, and make our people resilient to the devastating effects of climate change at the local government level,” Rep. Duterte said.

“Thank you to the people behind the Nation Builders and Mosliv Awards for recognizing our modest efforts to contribute to sustainable development. Daghang salamat (Thank you very much),” he added.
