Carmona City public schools get Starlink units


CARMONA CITY, Cavite – The local government unit turned over satellite internet units to three public schools on Monday, Dec. 4.

Cavite 5th District Rep. Roy M. Loyola and local officials handed over purchased Starlink units to representatives of Carmona Elementary School, Carmona National High School, and Angelo L. Loyola Senior High School.

Also present were Data Lake Inc. Chief Strategic Officer Michael Bell and President David Tanael. Data Lake, a data company led by tycoon Henry Sy Jr., is the first authorized reseller of Starlink in the Philippines.

The introduction of Starlink units in the city’s public schools marks a significant upgrade in internet connectivity for both students and teachers.

Data Lake also shared during the event that they will provide free Starlink service to city government offices as Carmona gears up to be an international and smart city.
