Briton drowns in Batangas beach

NASUGBU, Batangas – A British national drowned while swimming on a beach in Sitio Aplaya, Barangay Natipuan, this town, on Saturday night, December 30.

Police identified the victim as Clive, 61, of San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.

Investigation said the victim was swimming at Maya-Maya Beach Resort under the influence of liquor when he drowned.

He seen floating lying face down in the seawater and a civilian rescuer recovered the victim’s body.

The victim was taken to the Jabez Medical Center where he was declared dead by Dr. Mildred Kalang-ad.
