Pasay BFP holds 'Oplan Paalala, Iwas Paputok' motorcade

The Pasay City Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) conducted the "Oplan Paalala,Iwas Paputok” motorcade to ensure a safe celebration of New Year in the city on Dec. 31.

 
According to BFP spokesperson Senior Fire Officer 1 Rezmond Germino, the motorcade was participated by government agencies and private organization to remind the harmful effect of the use of firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices or it may cause fire in welcoming New Year.

 
Germino said the motorcade, themed “Sa Pagiwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa” also aimed of protecting residents from of occurrence of fire that may cause lost of lives and properties.

 
He said the motorcade passed through Arnaiz Avenue in Libertad Street going to Taft Avenue, EDSA Extension, P. Ocampo Street, then to Buendia Avenue in Tramo.

 
The BFP spokesperson said the motorcade also passed through P.Ocampo from Taft Avenue going to FB Harrison ST. then to EDSA Extension in Mall of Asia (MOA).

 
Germino added that from MOA, the motorcade then moved towards Aurora Boulevard, Domestic Road, NAIA Road, up to Barangay Villamor in Barangay 183, then to EDSA Malibay Area going to Taft Avenue.
