PRO-13 pays tribute to Rizal

CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 paid tribute to national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal during the 127th anniversary of his martyrdom on December 30 at the police regional headquarters here.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft lauded the heroism of Rizal.

“He (Dr. Jose Rizal) displayed his selfless devotion to the country and people by offering the ultimate sacrifice. His story of heroism is an inspiration for every police officer to unleash his/her best service for the general public," Kraft said in a message during the event.

Kraft said Rizal showed exemplary qualities worthy of emulation by police officers.

Personnel assigned to the regional headquarters, provincial and city police offices, police stations, and mobile forces marked the occasion and gave tribute to the national hero.
