The Philippines has condemned North Korea's recent launching of ballistic missiles as it said it has threatened stability in the Indo-Pacific.
In a short statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said North Korea's move on Dec. 18 "provokes tension and undermines economic progress, peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and in the Indo-Pacific region."
Manila had denounced multiple times in the past Pyongyang's missile activities, including the one it did in March 2023 and November 2022.
It said North Korea must comply with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and resort to diplomacy and peaceful dialogue with South Korea.
