Zamboanga City police receive 12 brand-new pick-up trucks


ZAMBOANGA CITY – House Majority Leader Zamboanga City Rep. Mannix Dalipe and Mayor John Dalipe here turned over 12 brand new pick-up trucks to the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) at the City Hall grounds on Wednesday, December 27.

During the ceremony, the Dalipes reiterated their steadfast support and commitment to the security sector.

Zamboanga City police chief Police Col. Alexander Lorenzo thanked the two officials for these  vehicles that will improve their mobility in responding to criminal incidents here.

The turnover ceremony followed another distribution of vehicles to the Police Regional Office-9 last week after Rep. Dalipe was able to secure the inclusion of 38 patrol cars for PRO-9 in line with the Capability Enhancement Program for 2023 and the Congress-introduced increase in allocation for fiscal year 2022.

These vehicles were distributed to city and municipal stations in Zamboanga Peninsula.

The House Majority Leader distributed these vehicles to boost the crime response capabilities of the ZCPO.
