Parts of PH may experience rains due to 'amihan', easterlies
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, Dec. 28 said rains may still be experienced over parts of the country due to the northeast monsoon and the easterlies.

PAGASA said the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will bring rains to Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon.
It warned of possible flash floods or landslides in these areas in times of moderate to heavy rains.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will also be experienced in the rest of Luzon due to the amihan.
Meanwhile, in the Visayas, Mindanao, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Bicol Region, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be felt due to the easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
Flash floods or landslides may also occur during severe thunderstorms, said PAGASA.
