The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will be offering free rides on Saturday, Dec. 30, in commemoration of the 127th death anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal.
LRT-2 announced on Twitter Thursday that it will accommodate passengers from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for free.
Meanwhile, the first LRT-2 train will depart from Recto and Antipolo Station at 5 a.m., and the last train from Antipolo Station will leave at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. from Recto Station.
The railway management reminded commuters to still comply with minimum health, safety, and security protocols during the free rides.
