Herlene Budol to release second single 'Kain Tayo'

Former beauty queen-turned-actress Herlene Budol is set to release her sophomore single "Kain Tayo" in 2024, showing her serious commitment to music.

On social media, Herlene revealed that she's taking voice lessons under Nathan Kim Mosot, owner of Kimusikero, to prepare for her new single.

Her debut single was "Talikodgenic Man Ako" released in 2019.

Herlene thanked her former manager, Wilbert Tolentino, for inspiring her to venture into another field of showbiz.

Herlene's full post:

"Thank you Mima ko Wilbert Tolentino. Yung kht indi na cya Manager ko pero andyan parin cya thru thick & thin at pinupush nya ako mag voice lesson at classmate ko narin si Little KaFreshness Willard King Tolentino. Masaya pala ang Musika. Yung may assesment ng coach ko si Kimusikero ng jazz, pop, ballad, blues, rock, hip hop, classical, electro, new age, reggae, atbp. - Ciempre Abangan ang bagong Single na ilalabas ko sa 2024 - "KAIN TAYO," she wrote.

The title of the song "Kain Tayo" (Let's Eat) was inspired by a recent controversy.

Recently, alleged private conversations of hunk actor Rob Gomez with fellow co-stars Herlene and Bianca Manalo leaked and trended on social media.

The three stars of the hit afternoon series "Magandang Dilag" denied they were engaged in sexy text messages.
