19-year-old arrested for illegal drugs in Pasig

The Eastern Police District (EPD) arrested a 19-year-old female drug suspect during a buy-bust operation at a tricycle terminal in Pasig City on Thursday, Dec. 28.

The EPD-District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) identified the suspect as "Jelilah," a resident of Pasig City. 
 
According to the police, the EPD-DDEU conducted a buy-bust operation at the terminal in Barangay Palatiw, which resulted in the suspect's arrest.
 
Confiscated from her were 50 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P340,000.
 
The arrested suspect is temporarily detained at the Pasig Police custodial facility and is facing charges for violation of R.A. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
