Who is Katy Louise Saunders, pointed out as Korean actor Song Joong-ki's girlfriend?

Korean drama “Reborn Rich” star Song Joong-ki confirmed that he is in a romantic relationship on Dec. 26 and netizens are focusing on the identity of his girlfriend.

According to Korean media, Song Joong-ki’s girlfriend is former actress Katy Louise Saunders, who was photographed with him several times.

Katy Louise Saunders’ IMDB profile stated that she was born in London in July 1984, and was known for appearing in “The Lizzie McGuire Movie” in 2003, “Los Borgia” in 2006, and “Third Person” in 2013.

“She's of English and Colombian descent. She moved to Rome, Italy, when she was a child,” according to IMDB.

Song Joong-ki is 37 years old while Saunders is 38.

During the 8th APAN Star Awards in September, Song Joong-ki won the grand prize and in his acceptance speech, he mentioned “Katy, Nalla, Maya and Antes.” Nalla is the name of his dog, while Maya and Antes are Saunders’ dogs.

In a Facebook post dated April 9, 2014, Saunders uploaded a photo with her dogs and wrote, “Miss them like crazy #antes #maya #family #bonded #team.”

A report by Korean media outlet Sports Chosun that the girlfriend accompanied Song Joong-ki when he visited Singapore for the promotion of “Reborn Rich” on Dec. 7. He even introduced her to the staff.

Last Dec. 17, Song Joong-ki attended the wedding ceremony of golf player Lim Sung-jae at Lotte Hotel World in Seoul with his girlfriend, according to another report.

They were photographed together arriving at Incheon International Airport last Dec. 9.

Song Joong-ki was previously married to actress Song Hye-kyo, his co-star in the 2016 hit drama "Descendants of the Sun."

They two got married in Seoul on Oct. 31, 2017. On June 26, 2019, Song Joong-ki filed for court mediation for his divorce with Song Hye-kyo.

On July 22, 2019, the Seoul Family Court approved the divorce settlement of the couple.
