'Baka ma covid ako': Guanzon grossed out by dirty luggage trays at NAIA

The threat of Covid-19 has mostly been forgotten in the Philippines, but the situation over at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) gave Rowena Guanzon a scare.

Guanzon, a nominee of P3PWD Party-list, was going through the x-ray machines like everybody else when she noticed how unkempt the luggage trays were.

"Ganito ka dumi ng box sq NAIA terminal 1. Baka ma covid ako neto (This is how dirty the boxes are at NAIA Teminal 1. I might get covid from this)," she wrote on X on Wednesday morning.

The X post came with a picture of the box in question.

It's not clear if the former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner sought the attention of airport staff to fix the problem.
