VP Duterte warns public vs people using her name to solicit money

Vice President Sara Duterte has warned the public against those who are using her name to collect money.

In a statement on Tuesday, Dec. 26, Duterte said some people and groups pretend to be from the Bureau of Customs or other government agencies to get money to finance a supposed campaign.

“Ito ay isang scam (This is a scam),” the Vice President said.

She said she did not ask anybody to solicit money for politics and for other purposes.

“Huwag kayong magpaloko. I-report ang inyong nalalaman tungkol sa mga scam na katulad nito sa PNP (Don't be fooled. Report any information that you will get about this scam to the Philippine National Police),” she added.
