3 arrested in Rizal drug busts

Three people were nabbed by operatives of the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in the province during Christmas week.

In Antipolo City, a certain "Joseph" was arrested around 1:50 a.m. on Dec. 26 in Barangay San Isidro. Authorities recovered from him P340,000 worth of shabu.

Two more individuals identified as "Bobby" and "Balot" were nabbed by operatives of the Binangonan Municipal Police Station after they yielded P2,740 worth of illegal drugs on Christmas day.

Rizal PPO head PCol. Felipe Maragun said the trio are now detained at the police custodial facilities while the necessary documents for the filing of charges against them are being prepared.
