Parañaque LGU offers 'early bird' discount to real property taxpayers

The Parañaque City government has announced that the City Treasurer’s Office is offering tax discount to residents who will be paying their real property taxes (RPT) up to March, 2024.

Mayor Eric Olivarez said the City Treasurer’s Office under Dr. Anthony Pulmano gave taxpayers a 20 percent discount when they made a full payment of their real property tax for 2024 before December 15, 2023.

Olivarez said the city government will continue to give 16 percent discount to taxpayers who will be paying their annual RPT in full on Dec. 16 to 31.

A 10 percent discount will be given to those who will pay for their annual RPT from January 1 to March 31, 2024.

The city treasurer said taxpayers may pay their RPT from Monday to Friday at the Treasurer’s Office located at the ground floor of Parañaque City Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Pulmano said taxpayers may also visit city government’s service center located at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in paying their RPT from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
