President Marcos wished that Christmas would bring love and strengthen bonds among Filipino families.
Marcos made the statement through a Facebook post on Monday, Dec. 25.
"Nawa'y magdala ang Kapaskuhan ng liwanag sa ating mga puso at muling magbukas ng pintuan para sa pagmamahal at pagkakabuklod (May the Christmas season bring light to our hearts and reopens the door for love and bond)," he said, greeting the citizenry a merry Christmas.
"Mula sa aking pamilya, isang maligaya at mapagpalang Pasko sa inyong lahat (From my family, joyful and blessed Christmas to all of you)," he added.
The President posted the statement as he shared a photo of the first family inside the Malacañan Palace.
First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and their three sons — Sandro, Simon, and Vincent— were with him in the photo.
