Man charged with frustrated murder after shooting friends in Navotas

Police arrested a 28-year-old man after shooting his friends during a drinking session in Barangay NBBS Proper, Navotas City, on Monday, Dec. 25.
The Navotas City Police Station (NCPS) identified the suspect as an alias "Ruben," 28, a resident of Barangay NBBS Proper, Navotas City.
Based on the investigation, the suspect was having a drinking session with the victims at 12:10 a.m. on Dec. 25, when they engaged in a heated argument.
The suspect then got his shotgun and fired at the victims. He fled to an unknown destination.
The victims were rushed to Tondo Medical Center and were placed under observation.
NCPS operatives conducted a follow-up operation that resulted in the suspect's immediate arrest.
Recovered from the suspect was a 12-gauge shotgun.
The suspect is currently being held under the custodial facility of NCPS and is facing murder charges, police said.
