“Ipinapaalala po sa atin ng pagsilang ng Dakilang Tagapagligtas ang diwa ng pagpapakumbaba, malasakit, pagbibigayan, pagmamahalan at pagbubuklod ng pamilya.(The birth of our Great Savior reminds us the spirit of humility, concern, giving, love and family boding),” she said.

In His life which underwent so many challenges and suffering, Jesus Christ showed the firmness of faith, the importance of dominance of the truth and justice–that life, dignity and welfare of each individual, especially to those who are in need should be respected and given importance).”

De Lima called on everyone to include in their prayers the end to conflict and chaos which killed and continues to kill so many lives, justice for the victims of violence and abuse, and safety, strength and courage for each other, especially those orphaned and away from their families this Christmas.

(We should remember and put into practice the lessons of Jesus Christ even if it’s not Christmas), he said.
