K-pop group BLACKPINK’s Lisa presented fans with a Christmas gift by covering Britney Spears’ “My Only Wish.”

Lisa dropped her cover of “My Only Wish” on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, uploading a music video on her YouTube channel Lilifilm, which has 11.5 million subscribers. She is spending Christmas in Paris.

“Christmas present for my BLINKS🎄Have a wonderful holiday✨우리 블링꾸!! 기다려줘서 고마워요🫶🏻 모두 행복한 크리스마스 되세용~ เป็นของขวัญส่งท้ายปีให้กับทุกคน ขอให้มีความสุขในวันคริสต์มาสนะคะ❣️,” Lisa wrote on Instagram where she has 100 million followers.

In 21 hours, Lisa’s “My Only Wish” music video has racked up 2.95 million views and placed No. 4 on Trending for music in the Philippines. It has also garnered more than 36,500 comments and 594,000 likes on YouTube as of this writing.

Lisa’s cover came 23 years after Spears released “My Only Wish” in November 2020. The song is about asking Santa Claus for a lover.

She uploaded an Instagram Story showing BLACKPINK’s Rosé adding the song to her Christmas playlist.

“Merry Christmas @lalalisa_m,” wrote Rosé.

Lisa, Rosé, Jennie and Jisoo renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for BLACKPINKs’ group activities as announced earlier this month.

Jennie established her own label, Odd Atelier, for her individual activities.
