Partly cloudy skies, rain showers to prevail over parts of PH
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, Dec. 24 said fair weather will prevail in large parts of the country, though rains are still possible.

"Huge parts of the country will experience generally fair weather conditions except for chances of isolated rains caused by the localized thunderstorms," weather specialist Grace Castañeda said in PAGASA's 4 a.m. live broadcast.
In Bicol Region, Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will be felt due to the easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean and localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur in the affected areas during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or "amihan" may still bring rains to northern Luzon, particularly Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, and Quezon.
The public is warned of the possibility of flash floods or landslides in the affected areas during periods of moderate to heavy rain.
In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced also due to amihan.
