Iloilo town's third most wanted apprehended

ILOILO CITY – Police arrested the third most wanted person in Pavia town, Iloilo province in this city on Saturday evening, December 23.

The Police Regional Office-6 identified the suspect as Mark Orbidalla, alias “Mark Sunio.”

Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 director, in a statement on Sunday, December 24, cited the arrest of the suspect.

“Justice is served to the victim of this heinous crime. With the support of the community, this outlaw was put behind bars. Let us continue to collaborate and cooperate to account for the wanted persons in the region and give justice to their victims and family,” said Villaflor.

Orbidalla was arrested in a joint operation led by the Iloilo City Mobile Force Company in Barangay Hibao-an Norte, Mandurriao District.

Police Major Mary Grace Borio, PRO-6 spokesperson, said the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO)-Mandurriao Police Station, Pavia Municipal Police Station, and the PRO-6 Regional Intelligence Unit 6 also helped apprehend Orbidalla.

Suspect was arrested for murder through a warrant issued last October 2022 by Judge Emerald Requina-Contreras of the Iloilo City Regional Trial Court Branch 23.
