Three persons were reportedly hurt after a fire gutted homes at Barangay Capri, Quezon City on Saturday, Dec. 24.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the injured residents as Alvin Sumayod, 22, who sustained a minor burn on his forehead; Renz Dumape, 25, who got a laceration in his right index finger; and a 13-year-old girl who lost consciousness and had bruises in his legs during the incident.
All the victims were given immediate medical attention.
BFP said the fire on Mulawin Street was raised to first alarm at around 3:12 p.m. and was declared under control at around 3:46 p.m.
It was extinguished at 3:57 p.m.
Probers placed a P50,000 estimated amount of damage to property caused by the fire, while the number of houses burned families are yet to be determined.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of fire, which was reported to have originated in the bedroom on the second floor of the house in the area.
