The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said rains will still be experienced in most parts of Luzon and the rest of the country due to the impact of the northeast monsoon or "amihan" and its convergence with the easterlies---the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean---or the shear line.

PAGASA said the mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and northern Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the shear line.
PAGASA said during moderate to heavy rains in the affected areas, flash floods or landslides may occur.
In Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and the rest of Cagayan Valley, cloudy skies with rains will be felt while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains both due to amihan.
PAGASA warned those in CAR and Cagayan Valley to be wary of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
In Bicol Region, Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will be expected due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
The public was also warned of possible flash floods or landslides in times of severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, in PAGASA's 4 a.m. live broadcast, weather specialist Benison Estareja said there is no tropical cyclone to be expected to form or enter thr country's area of responsibility until the end of 2023.
