CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – A pack of suspected cocaine valued at P2.6 million was found by a resident in Sitio Malazur, Barangay San Lorenzo, Mauban, Quezon on Friday, December 22.
The Police Regional Office 4-A said that Emilio Geriba, a resident of Sitio Malazur, saw a large transparent plastic pack at around midnight while walking on the seashore.
Geriba reported his discovery to the police who proceeded to the area to investigate.
Police found out that it contained half a kilo of cocaine worth P2.6 million.
The contraband was taken to the Special Operations Unit 4-A of the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group.
