Vlogger Zeinab Harake is not keen on signing up with a network because a regular TV show is demanding and will take time away from her kids. She's more interested in doing movies that will showcase a different side of her that the public has yet to see.

The famous Youtuber revealed her plans after the premiere night of the Metro Manila Film Festival movie "Kampon" where she plays her first starring role - that of a possessed woman named Loretta who figured in the past as the lead character Clark (played by Derek Ramsay.) The MMFF entry also stars Beauty Gonzalez, Nico Antonio, and child actress Erin Espiritu.

"Wala naman akong planong mag-network. Priority ko talaga mga anak ko at syempre, creating content for my vlog," she disclosed.

Gusto ko yung something new. Para din ito sa akin, gusto kong ma-challenge eh. Any roles na tingin nilang hindi ko kayang magawa, yun yung gusto kong gawin!,"

(Let's see what else I can do. I don't want to rush things. When I do movies, I don't want people to see the same Zeinab Harake they see in my vlogs. I want something new. I want to be challenged. Any role that they think I can't do, that's what I want to do!)

Before she gained millions of followers through her vlog, Zeinab is said to have aspired for a slot in Pinoy Big Brother but gave up because of the long lines. She now admitted that she would like to give acting in the movies a shot.

"Gusto ko naman talaga ng acting, Natatakot lang ako, lalo na at kelangan ko ng tamang pagsosolo pagdating sa script. Nakita nyo naman sa Kampon, wala ako halos sinabi . Am really just looking forward to learn what I need to know when it comes to showbiz," she stated.

(I really love acting, but I'm afraid, especially when I'm required to have my own lines. You can see in Kampon that I only have a few dialogues.)

In a vlog she uploaded right after the "Kampon" premiere night last Dec. 18, Zeinab narrated her whole experience of doing the movie. She revealed that her boyfriend, Bobby Ray Parks, accompanied her on the set.

"Ito ang aking artista journey. Ayoko talagang tawagin akong artista, nahihiya ako kasi feeling ko marami pa akong dapat patunayan bago ko makuha yung name na yun," she told her followers.

("This is my artist journey. I really don't want to be called an actress yet. I'm shy because I feel like I have a lot to prove before I deserve that name.)

Zeinab is proud and excited about her first starring role in "Kampon." She has some intimate scenes with Derek as his "one-night fling." But she recalled that the hardest scenes to do were in the first part of the movie, which required her to bend her body and be placed on a harness while being suspended in mid-air.

"Ang sakit nung hinahampas ako sa dibdib at itinaas ako. Grabe yun, masakit talaga!," she bared.

(It really hurt when they hit my chest and put me upwards. It felt terrible.)

In the end, Zeinab is happy with the outcome of the movie which is produced by Quantum Films and directed by King Palisoc.

"Lahat tayo naging professional at happy ako na nagawa ko ng maayos ang part ko," Zeinab closed.
