Pasay LGU to give discount to prompt, advanced payments on real property tax

The Pasay City government announced that tax discounts will be given to taxpayers who will make prompt and advanced payments on their real property tax starting January, 2024.

According to Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, the city government will give 6.5 percent discount if the basic real property tax and additional tax are promptly paid in full.

Rubiano said a five percent discount will be given in the case of quarterly payment if the real property tax is paid on the first month of each quarter of the current year.

She said a 10 percent discount will be given in case advanced payment is made between November 1 and December 31for the real property tax accruing on the following year.

The mayor is calling on all taxpayers to avail of the discount being offered by the city government starting January, 2024.
