Muntinlupa City Council passes resolution honoring UAAP Season 86 MVP Quiambao

The Muntinlupa City Council passed a resolution congratulating and honoring resident Karl Kevin Argana Quiambao, who won the most valuable player (MVP) award in men’s basketball at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 86.

Quiambao, a resident of Barangay Bayanan in Muntinlupa, was cited under Resolution No. 2023-385, which Mayor Ruffy Biazon signed on Dec. 19.

Last Dec. 6, “the De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers emerged as the Men's Basketball Tournament Champion defeating the University of the Philippines (UP) Maroons,” according to the resolution.

“Karl Kevin Argana Quiambao, who hailed from Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa City, is UAAP Season 86 Men's Basketball ‘Finals MVP’ and ‘League MVP' after also being recogr:ized as the ‘Rookie' the Year’ back in UAAP Season 85,” the resolution added.

According to the resolution, “the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Muntinlupa is extending its heartfelt congratulations to Karl Kevin Argana Quiambao for bringing honor and prestige to the City of Muntinlupa and serve as epitome of excellence, leadership, dedication, and inspiration to our youth.”
