Adamson University's Facebook page hacked

The official Facebook page of the Student Government was hacked early Friday morning, Dec. 22, the Adamson University (AdU) said.

The university confirmed the attack in a statement, revealing that the page's name was changed to "Please Avoid you're restricted for monetization See why" after being compromised.

In response, the university urged everyone to mass report the page to help control the spread of potentially inappropriate content and safeguard the integrity of AdU's online platforms.

"We kindly request your cooperation in mass reporting the aforementioned page," AdU said.

The student government then assured the university was taking the necessary steps to recover the page.

"Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time," it added.
