Tricycle operator yields P47.6-M shabu

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police seized seven kilos of suspected shabu valued at P47.6 million from a tricycle operator in a buy-bust operation here on Wednesday, December 20.

SEVEN kilos of suspected shabu worth P47.6 million were seized by the police in a buy-bust operation in Zamboanga City on December 20. (PNP)

Police Col. Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City police director, identified the suspect as 30-year-old Alkhumonie Ismael Usil, alias “Al.”

Usil was apprehended after he sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer inside a pension house.

Police onfiscated 10 bundles of P1,000 bills and other items from the suspect.

Mayor John Dalipe here congratulated Lorenzo and the Zamboanga City police for their accomplishment.

Lawmen are conducting follow-up investigation.
