Actor Rob Gomez maintained that his phone was not in his possession when the alleged private conversations with "Magandang Dilag" co-stars Bianca Manalo and Herlene Budol leaked on Wednesday.

"My phone is still not in my possession," wrote Rob at the height of the controversy that trended on social media.

In a message sent to pep.ph, Rob said his phone was taken and used without his consent.

“Please be advised that my phone was taken and used it without my consent on Dec. 20, 2023 from 12:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Worse is that the person who took my phone posted pictures of mine in my own social media account pretending that I posted it with the intention of destroying my reputation.

“The videos as shown were among my friends and co-stars who were trying to cheer me up when I was going through a lot of hurdles in my life," the actor told pep.ph.

On Dec. 20, Herlene said she was surprised that her name was dragged into the issue where she, Bianca were tagged in private conversations with the hunk actor.

Herlene, also known as Hipon Girl wrote:

"Showbiz nga talaga! Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho. gagawan ka ng issue!

"Dati asa #wowowin gumawa ng issue na buntis daw ako.

"Ngayon naman sa #MagandangDilag may issue uli na buntis ako uli? "Ano susunod? Sa #BlackRider mabubuntis ako uli?" the actress ended.

Bianca, currently on a vacation in Japan, remained mum about the controversy. She is also in a relationship with Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian.
