The Parañaque City government distributed to 25 beneficiaries “pangkabuhayan (livelihood) packages” aimed at helping city residents belonging to the marginalized sector.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the livelihood assistance is a project of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Integrated Livelihood Program and the office of Senator Loren Legarda in coordination with the city government.
Olivarez said the distribution of the livelihood packages was held at the Barangay San Dionisio gymnasium on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
He said the package included food cart with kitchen utensils, foods, and others for them to start their own business.
The mayor said DOLE-MunTaParLas field office Director Leonides Castillon, Jr. joined in the distribution of the livelihood packages.
