Mayor Wes inaugurates new 3S Center in Valenzuela

Valenzuela City Mayor Weslie "Wes" Gatchalian led the inauguration of the new Sentro ng Sama Samant Serbisyo (3S) Center in Barangay Palasan in the city  on Wednesday, Dec. 20.

The city government said the two-story facility stands in 3,732 square meters of land which features different facilities including the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan office, a Mega Health Center, Botika na Bayan, Alternative Learning System Center, e-library, multiputpose hall, and a tanod (watcher) outpost.

The mayor said the center aims to bring the city government's services closer to the Valenzuelanos.

Gatchalian said even though Barangay Palasan is a small village the city residents will feel that it is big since they already have the 3S Center which will provide the same services the local government gives to bigger barangays.

This is the 27th 3S Center established in the city, the mayor said.

Gatchalian said that by next year, there will be 28 centers in the city as they already broke ground for the 3S Center in Barangay Veinte Reales.

He shared that they will also be establishing a palyground and a chapel for the community in 2024.
