Taguig LGU thanks Jinggoy for allocating P10-M medical fund
The Taguig City government thanked Senator Jinggoy Estrada for allocating a P10-million medical fund for residents.
The fund will be used to give financial support to residents with illnesses such as cancer, dialysis and those who need surgery or therapy.

About 1,300 Taguigueño patients received cash assistance during the distribution ceremony held at Dueñas Gymnasium in Barangay Central Signal Village on Dec. 19.
“Marami po ang mga taong tumutulong sa atin, nagpapaabot ng pagmamahal sa ating lahat. Sa lahat ng pagkakataon, ipapanalangin po natin na gabayan ng Panginoon si Senator Jinggoy sa paglilingkod nya sa Senado (There are many people who help us, extending love for all of us. In all circumstances, we pray that the Lord will guide Senator Jinggoy in his service in the Senate),” said Mayor Lani Cayetano.
Estrada said he will continue to help Taguig residents.
“Hindi po ito ang unang beses na pagpunta ko rito. Sa susunod na taon uulit-ulitin ko ang pagtulong dito sa lungsod ng Taguig. Habang punong-lungsod si Mayor Lani, taun-taon po akong magbibigay ng tulong dito sa Taguig (This will not be my first visit here. Next year, I will again help the City of Taguig. While Mayor Lani is the mayor, I will provide help here in Taguig every year),” he said.
More than 1,500 barangay security force (BSF) or barangay tanods from Districts 1 and 2 also got cash assistance.
