Janno Gibbs pays tribute to his late dad Ronaldo Valdez: 'The sweetest dad ever'

Singer-actor Janno Gibbs paid tribute to his father, veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez, who passed away on Dec. 17.

On Dec. 20. Gibbs shared a happy photo with his father on social media with the caption: "The sweetest dad ever."

Words of condolence from celebrities continued to pour in following the demise of the award-winning actor.

Ogie Alcasid wrote: "He was a wonderful human being bro. Naalala ko lahat ng kwento mo tungkol sa kanya. He was your hero and your no 1 fan too. He was so proud of you. Yakap my brother. Dasal para sa pamilya."

 

 

JC Bonnin: "I'm deeply sorry for your loss, my friend. Your dad was truly a remarkable person, and I can only imagine the immense pain you must be feeling right now. Please know that you're in my thoughts constantly. Janno, If you ever need someone to talk to or lean on, I'm here for you. My heartfelt prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. Once again, I want to express my sincerest condolences."

On Dec. 18, Gibbs confirmed the demise of his father. He was 76.

"It is with great sorrow that I confirm my father's passing. The family would like to request that you respect our privacy in our grieving moment. Your prayers and condolences are much appreciated," Gibbs wrote on social media.
