Bulacan cops nab 16 lawbreakers

Seven alleged drug personalities, four wanted persons, and five law violators were arrested by the Bulacan police in several anti-criminality operations conducted in the province on Tuesday, Dec, 19.

Based on the reports submitted to Lt. Col. Jacquline P. Puapo, Bulacan police officer-in-charge, separate buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Sta. Maria and Obando police stations which led to the arrest of seven drug suspects.

Seized during the operations were three plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P8,160; two plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves valued at P960; assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU). Criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act  9165  (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, tracker teams of the Meycauayan, City of San Jose Del Monte, Sta. Maria and Plaridel Police Station arrested four wanted persons.

They were identified as Melnel Ibe for theft; Glenn Llaneta for lascivious conduct; Marc Dilbert De Guzman for slight physical injuries; and Rommel Llamas for rape.

The accused have been placed under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.

Authorities from the Sta. Maria, Bulakan, Baliwag, and Hagonoy police stations responded to different crime incidents which ed to the arrest of five lawbreakers.

The arrested suspects were identified as alias "Ofelia," 46, of Barangay Tumana, Sta. Maria, Bulacan for qualified theft; alias "Jr," 30, of Brgy. San Jose, Patag, Sta. Maria, and alias "Jerome," 24, of Balubad, Bulakan, both were arrested for acts of lasciviousness: alias "Susan," 45, of Candaba, Pampanga for theft; alias "Glenn," 19, of Hagonoy, Bulacan for physical injuries.
