PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards is the region’s largest and most respected real estate awards program. It was established in Thailand in 2005 to recognize excellent real estate in Asia, where it not only acknowledges and rewards excellent properties but also celebrates the achievements made by the developers on a domestic and regional level. Now, the Asia Property Awards series has extended the competition to recognize real estate in Australia, Cambodia, Greater Niseko (Japan), Mainland China/Hong Kong/Macau, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Last Dec. 8, the 18th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Finals 2023, held in Bangkok, Thailand, honored the finest developers and presented the best of 2023’s real estate in the Asia Pacific. The awards gathered together winners from 13 property markets in Asia, contesting for the highest marks of excellence in real estate development, construction, architecture, and design.

With more than 50 golden statuettes to be awarded, Aurelia Residences, a joint venture of Shang Properties Inc. and Robinsons Land Corporation received the Best High Rise Condo Development in Asia. 

“We would like to thank PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards for recognizing us and our commitment to provide excellence; it is a very big honor to represent the Philippines,” said Wolfgang Krueger, Shang Properties’ Executive Director.

The name Aurelia was inspired by Aureus, the Latin root word for gold and Aura, which means a distinctive atmosphere or quality that surrounds a person, thing, or place. Designers and architects were challenged to maximize the property’s viewing angle for the whole tower, including all the floors; hence, the signature Aurelia three-petal form was made to provide an elegant architectural solution by opening the façade for spectacular views on all sides.

Previously, on the 11th local edition of the same event, Shang Properties was also awarded as the Best Ultra Luxury Condo Development in Metro Manila, and Best Condo Development in the Philippines for Aurelia Residences, and Best High-End Condo Development in Metro Manila for Shang Residences at Wack Wack.
